The scheme consists of a self-assessed questionnaire designed to evaluate whether your IT meets the required government standard of security. Once completed, the questionnaire is reviewed by a qualified assessor who will issue a pass or fail certification. ​ ​ We appreciate that IT is confusing, complex and often filled with jargon. For this reason, our solution is guided and provides upfront consultancy time to explain everything you need to know for getting Cyber Essentials ready, then once you are ready, we’ll be on hand to carry out the assessment. ​

Cyber Essentials Plus delivers the same assessment as Cyber Essentials, but in addition a qualified assessor will audit the IT to add assurance that the required standards are being met. ​ ​ We recommend this option for companies that are looking to have complete peace of mind their business is cyber secure and meeting the government standard, it’s also a great certification to prove this to your customers.
